
Jennifer always longed to be an multi-tasking star. Jennifer was a lover of various styles of music in her youth, which included Afro-Caribbean beats, such as merengue, salsa, and merengue and bachata. As an adult, her preferred genres included the mainstream genres of pop music, R&B along with hip-hop. She was a lover of music, but was also fascinated by movie industry. Her biggest influence was the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Aside from being a budding performer Jennifer is also a Catholic schoolgirl. She attended for eight years of a Catholic primary school known as Holy Family which is located in The Bronx, before graduating from an all girls prep school, Preston High School after four years. While at the school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete and participated in tennis and track. Her entire life was growing up in a house with two stories located in the Castle Hill neighborhood. When she was 18, Jennifer moved out of her parent's house. Lopez started her job at an office for lawyers while partying at night.
