Dakota Blue Richards
Dakota Blue Richards was born in England. She's an English actor. She has played Lyra Belaqua in the film 'The Golden Compass,' as well as Franky Fitzgerald for the British teenage drama Skins. There is also a long performance history on stage in plays such as 'Arcadia and A Streetcar Named Desire. Richards, a Londoner by birth, lived on her home on the Sussex coast. Richards had a few acting classes at the school, however she was able to take the majority of acting classes on weekends. In addition, she skipped school in order to audition. Her first appearance on screen as an actor came in The Golden Compass. Though the film got some mixed reviews, Richards received widespread positive evaluations about her character. She debuted on television that year, in the documentary Dustbin Baby.
